After graduating from her Law degree with Honours, Amelia joined Norton Rose Fulbright, and, after completing the Graduate Program, she settled in their commercial real estate team. Amelia was promoted to Senior Associate and she also undertook secondments to the National Heart Foundation and Goodman Group. From here, she worked as a Principal Legal Officer for the Queensland Government.

Using these skills, Amelia then transitioned into a role in recruitment, joining a boutique Brisbane based legal recruitment agency. Here, over almost 7 years, she was not only promoted to a Director role in the business, but she interviewed over 1,500 legal professionals and built a niche LinkedIn network of more than 2,000 connections. She has successfully completed mandates for a mix of international, national and boutique firms as well as ASX listed, multinational, public and private companies and has handled roles at all levels, from lawyer through to Partner and General Counsel level appointments.

Amelia brings a practical understanding of the legal industry to every client and candidate interaction, and importantly she also brings a deep insight into how to find the right fit for both organisations and individuals. This, combined with her personable, trustworthy, and reliable style, has allowed her to build long-term relationships and deliver outcomes that align with career aspirations.
