After graduating with a Law degree with Honours, Amelia began her career with Norton Rose Fulbright, where she practised in the commercial real estate team and was promoted to Senior Associate. During this time, she also undertook in-house secondments with Goodman Group and the National Heart Foundation. She later joined the Queensland Government as a Principal Legal Officer before moving into recruitment in 2016.

Throughout her recruitment career, Amelia has partnered with international, national and boutique law firms, as well as ASX-listed, multinational, public sector, statutory, not-for-profit and private organisations. Her practice spans legal, risk, compliance, governance and company secretariat appointments, with experience recruiting from lawyer and specialist level through to Partner, General Counsel and senior leadership positions.

Having worked as both a lawyer and recruiter, Amelia brings a practical understanding of the legal and regulatory environments her clients operate in. She combines this with a strong knowledge of the Queensland market and an established network across private practice, in-house legal, risk, compliance and governance professionals.

Amelia takes a consultative, commercial approach to recruitment, investing time in understanding an organisation's culture, strategic priorities and the technical and interpersonal qualities required for each appointment. This has enabled her to build long-term relationships with clients and candidates, including many professionals she has continued to work with throughout different stages of their careers.
