As a Principal within the Project Services and Business Change team at u&u, Chris is focused on building long term relationships and connecting candidates with contract and permanent opportunities across the Transformation Space in Sydney.
After completing a BA Honours in Event Manager at Leeds Beckett University, I began my career in recruitment in the UK in 2012. I first worked for a global specialist recruitment agency where I learned my craft. Over the past 11 years I have worked in Manchester, London and Sydney. Having placed over 400 professionals in roles across Change and Transformation.
Whether it’s a discussion about a career move or a general chat around the market, Chris is always happy to take the time to add as much value as he can.
If you could have dinner with two people, dead or alive, who would you invite?Roger Federer as I am actually a bit of tennis nerd. My second choice would be Nelson Mandela who is a truly inspirational leader and man. I love the progress he made for the people of South Africa.
What I love most about my city is…?All of the outdoor activities in Sydney. Bondi Beach, the endless golf courses and hiking spots – it is a wonderful city to live in!
If you had to choose your last meal on earth, what would it be?My mum’s English Roast Lamb Sunday lunch with all of the trimmings including Yorkshire pudding, gravy and mint jelly.
What would you tell your younger self when finding your first job?Never compare yourself with others, focus on your strengths and believe in yourself. Also try not to put too much pressure on yourself and be kind!
