Ed’s 10+ years of finance recruitment in Sydney transcends industries and focuses on the mid-senior to senior leadership market. Having built a network of over 8,000 LinkedIn connections and placing close to 30 executive finance roles in the past 3 years, Ed prides himself on being connected to the market in a way not many can match. Having completed his bachelor’s degree at ACU, Ed continued his studies via a Juris Doctor with UTS. Working three jobs and balancing the schedule of university taught Ed the value of time management and prioritisation. After completing a summer internship with a law firm, Ed took up a graduate position with a Norwegian shipping company which offered him valuable commercial experience across divisions, and provided him with his first exposure to recruitment; he has never looked back.

Through the successful management of over 200 finance mandates during his recruitment career, Ed has built a reputation as one of Sydney’s most reliable recruiters and beyond managing mandates, he continues to provide valuable insight to the recruitment community; regularly providing opinions to the editors of some leading e-learning publications and has also co-hosted ‘next generation’ events with local high schools, presenting a resume writing course and other ad-hoc learning material to the next generation.
