James leads the Executive Practice for u&u and has been working in executive recruitment since 2005, leading assignments both domestically and abroad. James works with Boards and Executive teams on appointing critical leadership roles.

His experience includes appointments of CEOs, CFOs, COOs, EGMs, Regional and General Managers, as well as highly specialised senior management roles. Clients have included multi-billion-dollar multinational businesses, ASX-listed companies, private and publicly funded entities, ultra-high-growth entrepreneurial start-ups and not-for-profit organisations. Throughout his time in executive search, he has gained significant exposure to industries including: Agribusiness, Food, Resources, Utilities and Engineering, Technology, Gaming, Finance & Private Equity, Property and Construction, Education and Not-for-Profit.

Having started his career in research, James uses deep knowledge of online networks and search tools to achieve much broader coverage of the target market. This extends his significant executive network.
