Jess is a Resourcer within the Communications practice, supporting the identification and engagement of talent across corporate affairs, communications, stakeholder engagement and related functions.

Jess brings experience across both recruitment and corporate support environments. She began her career in business support roles, progressing from Office Assistant through to Corporate Reception and Team Assistant positions, gaining a strong understanding of business operations and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining u&u, Jess worked within a global recruitment firm specialising in Corporate Support recruitment, partnering with organisations across a range of industries including professional services, corporate and commercial businesses.

In her current role, Jess supports the recruitment of communications talent across a variety of positions including Communications Advisors, Coordinators, Corporate Affairs professionals and stakeholder engagement roles. She works closely with a diverse client base, partnering with organisations ranging from large corporates and professional services firms through to growing and purpose-led organisations.

Jess is known for her relationship-driven approach, placing a strong emphasis on candidate care, collaboration and building trust through open, two-way conversations. She is passionate about developing long-term partnerships with both clients and candidates, ensuring a thoughtful and tailored recruitment experience.

Having recently relocated from Sydney to Brisbane, Jess is focused on building strong networks within the local market and continuing to develop her expertise within the communications sector. She brings a high level of energy, curiosity and commitment to delivering positive, long-term outcomes for the individuals and organisations she partners with.
