Leoni began her recruitment career in 2014 in the UK, specialising in accounting support. Her keen eye for talent and dedication to matching the right candidates with the right opportunities quickly set her apart. Leoni then expanded her horizons by working in the UAE, this time recruiting within Financial Services. 

Driven by a love for even sunnier climates, Leoni relocated to Brisbane in 2016 and joined a multinational recruiter focusing on senior Accounting and Finance roles, steadily building a strong network of Brisbane-based candidates and clients. In March 2020, Leoni furthered her career by joining u&u Recruitment Partners, where she continues to specialise in Accounting and Finance recruitment. 

Continuing her focus in the Accounting & Finance sector, Leoni has built a LinkedIn network of over 7000 contacts and has leveraged it to successfully place over 350 candidates, partnering with a diverse range of clients in Brisbane, from large government-owned corporations to medium-sized mining organisations. Her placements span from Financial Accountant roles through to Senior Heads of Finance and CFO’s. Throughout her career, Leoni has prioritised business partnerships, candidate relationships, and industry expertise. Leoni proudly hosts quarterly Women in Finance events. She has also stepped into a leadership position at u&u, managing the whole accounting team for the Brisbane office.
