The Role: 
 
The Area Manager positions have been created to support the organisations growing operations, specifically in the network operations area.  As an Area Manager, you will lead a high performing team of client-facing Relationship Managers and be responsible for driving network growth within each region, ensuring compliance with safety and contractual standards, developing and initiating operational and customer experience improvement initiatives and building strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
 
Key areas of involvement will include:

• Championing operational and customer service excellence across your region;

• Working as an Area Manager group to develop standardized processes and systems which rolled out through the network;

• Building strategic partnerships with the operator network;

• Coaching and developing your team to achieve excellence;

• Driving organic growth in container volumes;

• Ensuring WHSE and contractual compliance; and

• Reporting on KPIs, financials and customer satisfaction.

Who You Are:  
 
You’re an exceptional people leader with a strong commitment to coaching and developing staff, while also driving operational improvements, growth and compliance initiatives.
 
More specifically you will possess:

• 7+ years’ leadership experience in operational or similar multi-site management roles in a similar retail or customer-focused environment;

• Proven success in contract management and continuous improvement, specifically in the areas of customer experience and operations;

• Strong financial, compliance and stakeholder management skills;

• Curious by nature, with a passion for deep diving into problems to develop solutions;

• Qualifications in operations, business, logistics or related field (preferred);

• Flexibility to travel to remote locations throughout QLD;

• Current QLD Driver’s Licence and ability to obtain a Blue Card; and

• Proactive, team focused, energetic and transparent.
