This is an opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, influencing decisions and translating complex analysis into meaningful outcomes.
Key aspects of the role include:
Partnering with operational and executive stakeholders to support strategic decision-making;
Developing financial models, scenario analysis and business cases to evaluate opportunities and initiatives;
Analysing business performance, identifying key drivers and providing actionable recommendations;
Supporting pricing, forecasting and cash flow planning activities;
Driving process improvement initiatives and enhancing commercial reporting capabilities;
Leveraging tools such as Power BI and Excel to deliver meaningful business insights; and
Contributing to several business improvement and transformation initiatives over the next 12 months.
What we’re looking for:
First and foremost, we’re looking for strong alignment to COEX’s values – Be Proactive, Value others, Work together, Contribute positively & Be transparent.
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline;
CA, CPA or CFA qualification (or working towards) highly regarded;
Demonstrated experience within Commercial Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Strategy or Business Partnering roles;
Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis capability;
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar BI tools;
Proven ability to translate data into commercial insights and influence decision-making;
Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge thinking and drive outcomes;
Experience partnering with senior leaders to deliver business improvements and commercial outcomes;
A naturally curious mindset, strong commercial acumen and a willingness to step into ambiguity; and
The ability to connect operational performance with financial outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
