We are looking to recruit an experienced Contract Administrator to join the Brisbane office.
About the Role
Earmarked to work on their newest high rise development (Newstead location, 30 storey, multi stage project), this is an exciting opportunity to join TDD as a Contract Administrator, playing a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this project.
You'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of contractual and commercial obligations, ensuring projects run smoothly, stay on budget, and meet compliance requirements. This hands-on role will see you managing subcontractor agreements, tracking variations, overseeing progress claims, and maintaining rigorous document control systems.
Key responsibilities include
Cost control, budget forecasting, and variation management;
Procurement and letting of trade packages, including subcontractor negotiations;
Managing contracts under Australian frameworks;
Processing progress claims and payment schedule as well as managing RFIs, drawing registers, and all project documentation;
Liaising with builders, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to resolve contractual and site issues;
Ensuring compliance with QBCC regulations and industry standards; and
Utilising Procore, MS Project, and advanced Excel for project administration and reporting.
About You
You're a detail-oriented construction professional with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record in contract administration within the building and construction industry.
You'll bring
A minimum 7+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator in the Queensland construction industry;
High rise residential project experience is highly regarded;
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar;
Experience running contract administration autonomously without additional CA support;
Strong cost control and forecasting skills, with experience managing budgets and tracking variations;
Demonstrated experience in procurement, trade package letting, and subcontractor negotiations;
Expertise in progress claims and payment schedules;
Extensive Procore proficiency;
Ability to read construction plans and understand build sequencing and methodology;
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal; and
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach to contractual and site challenges.
