About the role:

We are working closely with our client to secure them an experienced End User Computing Lead to play a pivotal role in the evolution of a large enterprise and complex technology environment.

What you’ll be doing:

While you'll oversee critical EUC services and infrastructure related project deliverables, this role is focused on taking the environment forward, identifying opportunities to modernise platforms, improve resilience, increase automation and help shape the future technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own, govern and continuously improve multiple Managed Operating Environments (MOEs) across distinct user groups and computing contexts, including Corporate Staff, Councillors, Public Computing (libraries), Mac, Kiosks and Appliances. Ensure each environment is secure, evergreen, fit for purpose and maintained in accordance with documented standards and lifecycle processes;

  • Ensure all MOEs and associated solutions are designed and delivered in compliance with ICT policies, IT standards, security frameworks and organisational governance requirements, including alignment with the Design Authority and Change Approval Board where applicable;

  • Provide and deliver Evergreen Services and associated technology outcomes that support a modern digital workplace, enabling great user experiences and enhancing customer productivity across all managed device types;

  • Ensure quality outcomes with application testing, Assess and manage risk and use best-practice strategies to minimise disruption to users;

  • Own and administer the Nexthink Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform as the primary measure of fleet health and service quality. Maintain accountability for achieving and sustaining the fleet health score target (70% or above) and develop and execute improvement plans where scores fall below target; and

  • Drive workplace productivity through Microsoft 365 adoption, optimisation and end user capability uplift.

What you’ll bring:

We're interested in speaking with technical leaders who have a strong background across Microsoft infrastructure environments and modern cloud platforms.
 
You will bring experience in:

  • Strong understanding of Managed Operating Environments (Evergreen preferred) across Microsoft, Apple and Android is essential;

  • Detailed working knowledge of Office 365 end user products, Intune, exchange online, Azure, SCCM, Identity Management, Group Policy, single sign on and two factor authentication;

  • Relevant IT certifications would be highly regarded (e.g. ITIL, Microsoft Certifications, etc.);

  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills and strategic thinking capability;

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management, training, presentation and public speaking;

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments;

  • Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team and manage individuals, fostering collaboration and effective teamwork; and

  • Ability to operate across a broad range of platforms and applications in a fast moving, customer focused environment.
