We are partnering with a well-regarded Brisbane-based organisation seeking a Financial Reporting Manager / Lead to support a critical end of financial year period.

This is a hands-on, technically focused contract role, working closely with the Financial Controller to lead financial reporting and support the external audit process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the financial reporting process through EOFY;

• Preparation and ownership of statutory financial statements;

• Facilitate and manage the external audit process;

• Assess and resolve technical accounting matters; and

• Liaise with external tax advisors, including on deferred tax matters.

About you:

• CA / CPA qualified;

• Strong technical accounting background;

• Proven experience preparing statutory financial statements;

• Experience managing external audits end-to-end;

• Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards in practice; and

• Working knowledge of tax principles.
