Purpose of the Role:
Our client requires an experienced IT leader to act as the primary IT partner to the CFO, responsible for overseeing outsourced service providers, ensuring operational stability, and governing the integration of several newly acquired businesses.
This permanent role is suited to a pragmatic and highly capable IT generalist with strong skills in MSP governance, vendor contract management, systems integration oversight, and business analysis.
The role provides leadership, assurance, sequencing, and quality control of technical activities performed by the MSP and global IT teams.
While the immediate priority is the 2026 integration program, the role also requires readiness for future M&A activities, repeatable integration frameworks in place.
The position reports directly to the CFO Australia and collaborates closely with the Global IT Director (UK) to align technology, security and architecture with global standards.
Over time, this role is intended to evolve into the future Head of IT for ANZ, shaping the technology operating model for a multi-site organisation.
Experience & Capabilities:
Essential
7 –12 + years of broad IT experience across infrastructure, applications, service delivery, networks and / or data;
Strong MSP governance and vendor contract management experience;
Demonstrated ability to deliver (or govern delivery of) technology transitions, cutovers or integration programs;
Background in Business Analysis, Systems Integration or technical program oversight;
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
Highly organised with structured planning and strong follow-through; and
Able to operate independently without an internal IT team.
Desirable
Experience supporting or leading MSP RFPs or re-tendering processes;
Experience in multi-site service industries (education, childcare, healthcare, retail);
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint management, telephony and networks;
Exposure to Workday, Xap/Xplor, CRM, HRIS, payroll or finance systems; and
Experience developing integration playbooks or technical runbooks.
