Join a national organisation as a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor, supporting a multi-site, operational workforce across Australia. This hands-on role combines WHS compliance, incident management, workers’ compensation and RTW with a strong focus on psychosocial risk, wellbeing initiatives and imbedding a practical safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work cases;

• Lead psychosocial risk identification, consultation and controls;

• Coordinate employee health, wellbeing and mental health initiatives;

• Conduct incident investigations and manage corrective actions;

• Coordinate WHS audits, inspections and emergency preparedness;

• Analyse safety data, trends and lead indicators;

• Maintain WHS systems, documentation and regulatory requirements;

• Coach operational leaders and depot supervisors on WHS; and

• Provide WHS reporting, advice and support to leadership.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a practical WHS professional with exposure to psychosocial program management, workers’ compensation and RTW expertise. You will be comfortable supporting blue-collar workforces across multiple sites, jurisdictions and operational environments with confidence and autonomy.

Key Requirements

• 3 - 5+ years’ WHS experience in an operational or blue-collar environment;

• 3+ years’ workers’ compensation and RTW experience;

• Strong understanding of multi-jurisdiction WHS legislation and obligations;

• Practical experience managing psychosocial hazards and workplace wellbeing;

• Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety or equivalent;

• Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills; and

• Experience with WHS systems, incident management and safety reporting.
