About the Role:

We are working closely with our client to secure them an experienced Infrastructure Lead to play a pivotal role in the evolution of a large enterprise and complex technology environment.

What you’ll be Doing:

While you'll oversee critical BAU infrastructure services and infrastructure related project deliverables, this role is focused on taking the environment forward, identifying opportunities to modernise platforms, improve resilience, increase automation and help shape the future technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities Include:

• Providing technical leadership across infrastructure, cloud and platform services;

• Leading the design, review and implementation of infrastructure solutions and transformation initiatives;

• Driving Azure platform improvements, automation opportunities and DevOps practices;

• Contributing to cloud adoption, hybrid infrastructure and modernisation projects;

• Partnering closely with Cyber Security teams to ensure security, resilience and compliance are embedded into all solutions;

• Leading technical troubleshooting and complex incident resolution;

• Mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance across the team;

• Managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers; and

• Contributing to future initiatives around AI, automation and platform innovation.

What you’ll Bring:

We're interested in speaking with technical leaders who have a strong background across Microsoft infrastructure environments and modern cloud platforms.

You will bring experience In:

• Azure Infrastructure and Cloud Services

• Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code and automation practices

• Hybrid cloud environments

• Microsoft Server technologies

• Active Directory and Entra ID

• VMware and virtualisation platforms

• Storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Identity and access management

• Security hardening and platform resilience

• Infrastructure design, architecture and technical governance

Experience working alongside Cyber Security teams and implementing security best practices within infrastructure platforms will be highly regarded.
