A large, complex organisation within the energy sector is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical, enterprise-scale infrastructure projects. You will be tasked with delivering 2 x key infrastructure initiatives across back-up solution upgrade and a SharePoint on prem to cloud migration.
You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, working across technology teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure infrastructure solutions are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with organisational strategy.
In this role, you will:
Lead the delivery of large-scale IT infrastructure projects with minimal disruption to business operations;
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams;
Coordinate multi-disciplinary ICT teams, vendors, and external delivery partners;
Develop statements of work, manage procurement activities, and oversee supplier contracts and SLAs;
Facilitate project governance forums, including steering committees and working groups;
Ensure projects align with established ICT project delivery frameworks, standards, and operating procedures; and
Drive effective change management and benefits realisation to support successful implementation.
About You
Formal project management qualifications (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, or equivalent);
Extensive experience delivering enterprise IT infrastructure projects within large, complex organisations;
Strong background in data centre technologies, infrastructure installations, and platform upgrades;
Proven experience managing budgets, procurement, vendor relationships, and fixed-price contracts;
Confidence engaging with senior executives, technical SMEs, and external suppliers;
Hands-on experience using project management tools such as MS Project and Altus; and
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
