The Opportunity

Working within a collaborative finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information while supporting commercial decision-making across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports;

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis;

• Maintaining strong governance, financial controls and reporting processes;

• Partnering with stakeholders across finance and the wider business;

• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and finance processes;

• Assisting with project-related financial reporting and analysis; and

• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the finance team where required.

About You

We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• CA or CPA qualification (or are nearing completion);

• Around 2+ years' experience in management accounting, financial reporting or a similar commercial finance role;

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail;

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business;

• A proactive mindset and genuine interest in improving processes; and

• Experience within energy, infrastructure, professional services or complex environments will be highly regarded.

This opportunity would be particularly well suited to:

• A Big 4 first mover with exposure to energy, infrastructure or project-based clients looking for their first commercial role; and
