Our client is embarking on an exciting digital transformation and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and mobilisation of a strategic Private 5G and AI program.

This is a unique opportunity to take an existing proof of concept through to a fully funded project, establishing the governance, business case and delivery framework that will underpin a major technology investment.

About the Role

Working closely with operational leaders,  you will be responsible for establishing the project foundations, securing executive support and preparing the initiative for procurement and delivery of this infrastructure project.

Acting as the link between business stakeholders, technology teams and technical subject matter experts, you will ensure the project is strategically positioned for success while navigating complex stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a compelling business case to secure project funding and executive endorsement;

• Establish project governance, reporting frameworks and steering committee processes;

• Develop the project roadmap, delivery approach and mobilisation plan;

• Build strong relationships across business, operational and technology stakeholders;

• Support procurement activities, including preparation of RFP documentation and vendor engagement;

• Lead the transition planning from the existing point-to-point CCTV network to a Private 5G environment; and

• Establish the foundations for future AI-enabled capabilities that will leverage the new network infrastructure.

About You

You are an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record delivering complex technology initiatives within large or enterprise environments. You are equally comfortable engaging with senior executives as you are working alongside technical specialists and operational stakeholders.

You will Bring

• Demonstrated experience delivering technology or infrastructure projects from business case through to project mobilisation;

• Strong project governance, planning and executive reporting capabilities;

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across multiple business areas;

• Experience preparing business cases, project plans and steering committee reporting;

• Exposure to procurement activities, including RFP development and vendor engagement; and

• An understanding of networking, telecommunications, CCTV, surveillance technologies or related infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
