The Role
The Sales Manager role will form part of the senior management team and will play a key role in leading the sales function to deliver ongoing profitable growth. This role is not about managing the status quo either, rather it’s about implementing the systems, operating structure and sales disciplines to drive next stage of growth.
More specifically, you will be involved in the following
Providing leadership, coaching and guidance to a team of Business Development Managers and Internal Sales staff based in Brisbane and Toowoomba;
Building a high-performance sales culture built on accountability, professionalism and consistency;
Implementing a structured sales process, KPI’s and sales systems such as pipeline management forecasting and pricing;
Playing an active role in sales strategy, business development and the relationship management of major customers; and
Working as part a close-knit senior management team to implement and continuously refine business processes to support ongoing growth.
Required skills / Experience
5+ years of sales leadership experience, with demonstrated experience achieving sales growth and building sales teams;
A disciplined, structured approach to sales leadership with the ability to drive a culture of accountability;
Demonstrated ability to motivate, inspire and coach teams;
Industry background is not the main criteria here, however you will need to be comfortable selling to a trade orientated client based, while also possessing experience selling customized solutions, not purely off the shelf products; and
Willing to travel regularly within Southeast QLD and hold current driver's licence.
