About the Role
We are working with one of our key enterprise clients to help secure them a key resource. This Senior Security Specialist will play a key role in this organisation, operating as a trusted security advisor, bringing a broad understanding of Identity & Access Management (IDAM), Customer Identity (CIAM), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across technology and the business to provide guidance, direction and assurance, drive best practice and governance and support uplift initiatives and strategic programs.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a senior security advisor across IDAM, CIAM, and PAM domains;
Lead and support identity governance, access controls, and user access reviews;
Drive security uplift initiatives, including CIAM implementation and PAM maturity improvements;
Provide input into security strategy, frameworks, and governance models;
Support audit remediation, control testing, and risk reduction activities;
Develop and deliver clear, actionable security recommendations and documentation; and
Mentor and support team members, contributing to a growing IDAM capability.
About You
You’re a senior security professional with a consulting mindset -someone who can engage, influence, and guide, not just execute.
You’ll Bring
Strong experience across IDAM, CIAM, and PAM;
Background in security consulting, advisory, or architecture-style roles;
Proven ability to engage with stakeholders from engineers through to C-level;
Strong knowledge and understanding of security frameworks, industry standards and regulatory requirements, including NIST, CPS234, CPS230, Critical Infrastructure and ATO obligations;
Experience delivering practical outcomes (not just recommendations);
Exposure to CIAM platforms (e.g. Ping, Oracle or similar);
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes; and
A pragmatic approach with the ability to operate at pace and manage ambiguity.
