About COEX
Container Exchange (COEX) is a not-for-profit organisation created to establish and run the Containers for Change scheme in Queensland. We focus on reducing container litter, increasing recycling efforts and helping communities benefit through paying refunds to individuals, charities and community groups.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial partnerships. You’ll lead the full partnership lifecycle—from identifying and securing new opportunities through to delivering high-quality activations and renewals.
You’ll work closely with internal teams while acting as a key external representative of the scheme, building strong relationships and ensuring partners see clear, measurable value.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic commercial partnerships including overseeing contractual entitlements and activation schedules;
Leading partnership activations and events end-to-end;
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of new partnership opportunities;
Developing compelling proposals and pitch materials;
Monitoring and reporting on partnership performance and ROI;
Driving partner renewals through demonstrated value and outcomes; and
Representing COEX at industry events and networking opportunities.
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience in partnerships, business development or account management;
Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify value-driving opportunities;
A track record of securing and managing high-value partnerships;
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and present at all levels;
Experience working with CRM systems and using data to inform decisions;
A proactive, relationship-driven approach with a focus on outcomes; and
Willingness to travel as required to manage relationships and attend key industry events.

Brisbane-based role with travel required;
Australian driver’s licence required; and
Blue Card (or ability to obtain) and satisfactory criminal history check.
