We are looking for an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Developer / Techno-Functional Consultant to join a collaborative Agile delivery team working for a government department on their Dynamics CRM platform.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to combine your strong Dynamics 365 development expertise with your ability to work closely with business stakeholders, architects, technical leads and product owners to design and deliver high-quality CRM solutions.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the functional-to-technical mapping, user story refinement, data analysis, entity and integration mapping, as well as the development, deployment and ongoing support of Dynamics 365 solutions.

Working as part of a small, agile delivery team, you will:

• Develop and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, including custom workflows, plug-ins and integrations;

• Translate business requirements and user stories into functional and technical designs;

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects and Technical Leads to refine requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions;

• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, prioritisation and backlog refinement;

• Develop and maintain entity models, data rules, data mappings and integration mappings;

• Participate in build, release, deployment and monitoring activities;

• Support and enhance Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices;

• Work with testers and delivery teams to resolve defects and ensure successful sprint delivery;

• Create and maintain technical design and as-built documentation;

• Contribute to data migration, system configuration, unit testing and UAT;

• Proactively identify technical and systemic issues and recommend improvements to development practices, tooling and standards; and

• Support the transition of applications into operational support.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can operate comfortably across both the technical and functional sides of Dynamics 365.

You will ideally bring:

• 3+ years' experience as a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer and 3+ years' experience in a techno-functional consulting role;

• Strong experience implementing Dynamics 365 ALM, build and release processes;

• Experience developing modular solutions using managed solutions;

• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CRM modules, solution lifecycle and dependencies;

• Experience translating requirements into functional and technical designs and working closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners;

• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps;

• Strong experience with Power Automate, Cloud Flows, workflows, plug-ins, client-side development and Power BI;

• Experience with Power Apps Portals and Unified Client Interface (UCI) / Canvas apps;

• Strong data analysis skills, including entity modelling and data and integration mapping;

• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Microsoft Azure services, including directory services, Service Bus, web services and DevOps pipelines; and

• Development experience with C#, Angular 6+, HTML, CSS and Web APIs.
