About the Role:
We’re looking for an exerienced Technology Governance and Performance Analyst to help shape how technology delivers real business impact for our client.
As a Performance Analyst you will join our client’s Technology Strategy & Governance team. This is a key role focused on strengthening, governing, measuring, and continuously improving their technology function.
If you enjoy turning complex data into meaningful insights, improving how decisions are made, and driving real outcomes from technology investment, this role will give you the platform to do exactly that.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll play a critical role in uplifting governance practices and performance reporting across Technology. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll help ensure governance is clear, effective, and focused on delivering measurable business value.
This is a mix of analysis, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. You’ll bring structure, clarity, and insight to how technology performance is tracked and how decisions are made.
What you’ll be doing:
Improve governance frameworks, forums, and decision-making;
Provide data-driven recommendations while maintaining strong risk controls;
Driving performance insights;
Define and embed meaningful performance metrics;
Analyse trends to identify risks and opportunities;
Translate complex data into clear insights for senior leaders;
Enhance governance processes, reporting, and data quality;
Support consistent, standardised practices across Technology; and
Maintain clear, current IT policies and governance documentation.
What you’ll Bring:
Experience in technology governance, performance reporting, or assurance, a preference for stronger performance experience;
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights and actions;
Experience improving governance forums, reporting, or decision-making frameworks;
Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders across both technical and business teams;
Strong documentation skills across policies, standards, and governance artefacts; and
High attention to detail, with the ability to balance strategy and delivery.
Nice to Have:
Experience in financial services, superannuation, or regulated environments;
Exposure to portfolio, program, or investment governance and exposure to SOFIA and COBIT and CPS; and
Experience supporting technology transformation or uplift initiatives.
