Join a collaborative corporate WHS function, providing hands-on coordination across systems, reporting, auditing and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the WHS Manager, you’ll support WHS activities across a diverse operational portfolio, helping maintain effective systems, assurance processes and safety outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate WHS activities and initiatives across a diverse portfolio of contracts and operational teams;
Support WHS auditing, assurance and compliance activities, including desktop audits;
Maintain and administer the organisation’s WHS incident management system;
Monitor hazard, near-miss and incident reporting, ensuring actions are appropriately followed up;
Collect, analyse and prepare WHS data and reporting for senior leadership and Board-level reporting;
Prepare WHS documentation, reports, presentations and other materials to support the WHS Manager;
Liaise with Contract Managers, General Managers and corporate stakeholders to provide practical WHS support; and
Support the ongoing improvement of WHS systems, processes, records and reporting.
About You
We are looking for a practical and organised WHS professional who combines strong technical capability with excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Requirements
Previous experience in a WHS Coordinator, Safety Coordinator or similar role;
Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, systems and processes;
Experience managing incidents, hazards and near-miss reporting;
Exposure to WHS auditing, assurance or compliance activities;
Experience working with WHS management systems and safety data;
Strong administration, coordination and reporting skills; and
Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills across operational and corporate environments.
